The Solution – Blended Learning Toolkit

The blended toolkit is aligned with specific SkillSoft courses, and can be used by anyone who meets the target audience requirements for the course.

The overall goal of the Blended Learning Toolkit is to offer individuals and organizations a variety of 20-30 tools and activities to help transfer knowledge and skills from SkillSoft e-Learning courses to the realities of the workplace. They are scoped to cover the content within a series of SkillSoft business courses, and are delivered in electronic format to provide maximum flexibility and customization.

The Blended Learning Toolkit can also be used to support and reinforce classroom or instructor-led training. The tools serve as a way to prepare for, support, and/or reinforce knowledge and skills, using selected SkillSoft e-Learning programs and concepts.

Many of the tools in the Blended Learning Toolkit are self-driven, and some call for a facilitator or coordinator. Group or Department managers, team leaders, or members of Human Resources can provide input and help with implementation where needed. Some organizations may want to use the Blended Learning Toolkit to foster a broader sense of accountability for learning, by getting people more involved in the transfer of skills in the workplace.

In summary, SkillSoft’s Blended Learning Toolkits are one more way for you to promote learning and development at all levels in your organization, putting the tools in the learners’ hands.
