The SkillView solution

SkillView is a robust solution that is integrated with SkillPort to ensure seamless pass-through between SkillView and your instance of SkillPort. Learners can select training recommendations from SkillView and have them sent to SkillPort’s MyPlan for ease of use. Even more impressive, SkillSoft content can be launched directly from within SkillView. The first release of SkillView will be deployed to SkillPort hosted customers.

SkillView

SkillView Core is the product of choice for customers that would benefit from a turnkey, easy to implement, less complex solution. In addition to technology, customers will benefit from the SkillView Competency Model which contains a generous amount of data including skills, jobs, job profiles and SkillSoft curriculum that is linked to associated skills. Though the model provides plenty of data it can be modified and/or extended. (The model is updated semi-annually.) Your employees will have access to a single profile assessment record (typically self-assessment with supervisor review.) SkillView Core includes:

  • Single assessments
  • Gap analysis
  • Individual and group reporting capabilities
  • Skill-based searches
  • A rich array of site options

SkillView XL

SkillView Core is the product of choice for customers that would benefit from a turnkey, easy to implement, less complex solution. In addition to technology, customers will benefit from the SkillView Competency Model which contains a generous amount of data including skills, jobs, job profiles and SkillSoft curriculum that is linked to associated skills. Though the model provides plenty of data it can be modified and/or extended. (The model is updated semi-annually.) Your employees will have access to a single profile assessment record (typically self-assessment with supervisor review.) SkillView Core includes:

  • Multi-rater (360 degree) employee assessment
  • Recruiting elements (analyze applicant skills in fashion as employees)
  • Employee scheduling
  • Employee free form posting and searching
  • Skill weighting capabilities that distinguish those skills in a profile that are more important than others, therefore having them ‘count more.’
  • Employee resume posting and searching
